This site is a tribute to June Mead, who was born in Whitby on September 28, 1968. She is much loved wife, mum and friend and will always be remembered.

My thoughts are with you all at this unbelievably sad time.June was your bedrock and will be with you every minte of the day by your side guiding you as she always did. Take each day at a time and speak about her often share your feelings and look after each other.

It takes a very special woman to nurture and raise England's star player. It takes a very special woman to impact thousands of lives, and raise thousands of pounds, at that. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing her personally, but it doesn't take much to realise that June Mead was a very special woman. A very special woman who will carry on being spectacular, even when in the afterlife, cheering for her children and family on their road of grief. I wish you the best of luck navigating that road, and a dozen chants of 'Meado' to hopefully spur you on.
